Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on ready-mix trucks, end dump trucks, tractors, trailers, and heavy construction equipment.
  • •Diagnose mechanical issues, analyze malfunctions, and deliver solutions to ensure equipment reliability and performance.
  • •Dismantle, rebuild, and maintain equipment; replace and overhaul major components such as engines, transmissions, motors, and hydraulic systems.
  • •Test, operate, and fine-tune equipment to ensure optimal efficiency and safety, including welding/restoration of structural and mechanical components.
  • •Maintain accurate time and parts records, keep a clean/safe work environment, and collaborate with maintenance staff to keep the fleet ready.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree or technical certification in Heavy Equipment Maintenance is a plus.
  • •3–6 months of hands-on experience with heavy equipment maintenance, or equivalent education and experience.
  • •ASE certifications and a valid CDL (A or B) preferred; clean driving record is a plus.
  • •18 years or older with ability to pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
  • •Ability to comply with OSHA/MSHA safety procedures and applicable Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (US DOT).
