Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and grow the Cloud Efficiency team of software engineers, fostering technical excellence, ownership, and continuous learning.
  • •Drive the Cloud Efficiency roadmap, translating spend objectives into systems for authoritative cost data, resource ownership, attribution pipelines, cost modeling, observability, governance, and optimization workflows.
  • •Set technical strategy for backend systems, data pipelines, and APIs that measure, attribute, and surface cost and usage insights at massive scale.
  • •Own end-to-end delivery from planning and scoping through design reviews, execution, launch, and iteration based on customer feedback.
  • •Represent the team in broader technical discussions and partner cross-functionally to ensure smooth integrations and end-customer success.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 236,000 - 339,200 annually

Key Requirements

  • •9+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in an engineering management role leading teams building large-scale production systems.
  • •Strong technical foundation in distributed systems, data engineering, or cloud-native backend development.
  • •Demonstrated ability to define and execute multi-quarter technical roadmaps while balancing short-term delivery and long-term platform health.
  • •Experience building cost management, budgeting, billing, or FinOps tooling in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • •BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
