Job Summary

Safely and efficiently operate a commercial motor vehicle to deliver freight and building materials to commercial and residential job sites in compliance with company policies and federal/state DOT regulations. Inspect and prepare the truck/trailer, load/unload materials, maintain required compliance records, report accidents, and manage physically demanding delivery work. Provide world-class customer service and professional communication while meeting site schedules and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

•Inspect truck/trailer for defects, safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom truck, and unload at job sites
•Deliver materials to assigned areas as directed by customers while prioritizing safety for self and others
•Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations
•Report all accidents involving driver or company equipment
•Provide world-class customer service and communicate professionally with management, coworkers, and customers

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED
•Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) and clear three (3) year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
•Minimum Class B license; Class A strongly preferred
•Ability to safely load/unload building materials and lift heavy materials (up to 80 lbs; 100+ lbs mentioned)
•Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations and ability to maintain required compliance records
