Job Summary

Join the Adelaide Planning team to support master plans, strategic plans, and development applications while contributing to transport, infrastructure, and renewable energy projects. You’ll perform planning research and analysis, prepare project documentation, and assist with stakeholder and community engagement materials. Work alongside experienced planners, engineers, and environmental specialists on multidisciplinary projects, including meetings and site visits, to build practical urban planning skills through a 12-week paid internship.

Key Responsibilities

•Support the development of master plans, strategic plans, and development applications.
•Contribute to transport, infrastructure, and renewable energy projects through research, planning analysis, and project documentation.
•Assist with stakeholder engagement by preparing materials for consultation and community engagement.
•Help deliver timely, accurate, and high-quality planning and approvals advice to clients.
•Participate in project meetings and site visits to gain practical urban planning experience.

Key Requirements

•Interns who are curious, proactive, adaptable, and committed to professionalism and integrity.
•Bachelor’s or Postgraduate student in the penultimate year of an Urban, Environmental, or related Planning discipline.
•Able to work full-time hours from mid November 2026 to mid February 2027.
•Candidates must hold Australian citizenship and be eligible to obtain the required Defence Security Clearance for this role.
•Strong communication and teamwork skills.
