Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct safety awareness training and communications annually and during new hire onboarding.
  • •Participate in incident investigations and identify corrective actions; train supervision in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
  • •Provide training on behavior-based safety and track/communicate collected data; drive plant employee participation.
  • •Conduct risk assessments, facilitate corrective actions for at-risk tasks, and update/upgrade training programs.
  • •Support environmental activities (stormwater pollution prevention and spill prevention, containment & countermeasures, recycling) and assist with pre-startup safety reviews and non-routine task risk reduction planning.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/equivalent.
  • •Safety-related degree or certification (OSHA, NSC, ASSE) is a plus.
  • •Some experience in an industrial setting is preferred.

  • •Familiar with OSHA and federal and state safety, health, and environmental regulations.
