Key Responsibilities

•Verify applicants’ personal and financial information provided during the application interview.
•Update the LOS system to reflect changes in loan status and follow up on missing documents from third parties.
•Order and track appraisals and title work to ensure timely completion and review title work for potential closing issues.
•Prepare and submit loans to underwriting, interpret results, and collect information needed to clear contingencies for final approval.
•Coordinate closing activities with attorneys, loan officers, and borrowers, including reviewing insurance coverage and completing HMDA worksheets.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED, with at least 2 years of experience processing secondary mortgage loans.
•Basic knowledge of compliance regulations such as RESPA, Fair Lending, and HMDA.
•Intermediate knowledge of bank operations, products and services, and related state and federal laws and policies.
•Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
•Intermediate computer skills, including mainframe operation and proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet tools.
