Key Responsibilities

•Design, build, and ship Android features in Kotlin that drive shopper activation, engagement, retention, and earnings across the shopper lifecycle.
•Own features end-to-end from ideation and technical design through implementation, experimentation, launch, and ongoing iteration.
•Collaborate with Product, Design, and Data Science to define problem statements, build metrics/dashboards, run A/B tests, and make data-informed decisions to improve marketplace health.
•Contribute to and evolve app architecture, improving scalable patterns, dependency injection, maintainable code, and developer productivity.
•Improve operational excellence by enhancing performance, stability, monitoring, and observability; participate in code reviews and engineering best practices.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 168,000 - 177,500 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years of professional Android development experience with Kotlin.
•2+ years building consumer-facing, application-layer features used at scale (e.g., activation, onboarding, engagement, growth, or earnings).
•Proficiency with RxJava and Dagger; working knowledge of Jetpack Compose in production or migration contexts.
•Proven track record owning features end-to-end (technical design, implementation, testing, release, iteration) and delivering measurable impact.
•Strong computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, concurrency) and a BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
