Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete work area setup and fit parts together according to prescribed instructions and quality standards.
  • •Operate hand tools (hammer, miter saw, reciprocating saw, nail gun, tape measure) as required for assembly.
  • •Stack finished products and, if required, cover, label, and band components following established procedures.
  • •Ensure work area safety, cleanliness, and equipment safety; complete pre-shift equipment inspections and end-of-shift clean up.
  • •Check materials and finished products for compliance, identify defects/inconsistencies, and make necessary corrections as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED preferred (not required).
  • •No minimum experience required; 6 months of manufacturing and assembling experience preferred.
  • •Working knowledge of basic math.
  • •Must have good hand-eye coordination and use proper hammer technique and safety practices to prevent strain or injury.
  • •Must be able to stand for extended periods and safely lift lumber; must tolerate daily exposure to hot and cold weather.
