Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement a comprehensive public policy and government affairs strategy for Nepal.
  • •Build and maintain relationships with government ministries, regulatory agencies, parliamentarians, local governments, and public institutions.
  • •Monitor and analyze legislative, regulatory, and political developments, and advise management on policy risks, opportunities, and stakeholder dynamics.
  • •Lead advocacy efforts on issues affecting the digital economy, platform businesses, ride-sharing, mobility, labor, taxation, consumer protection, and competition policy.
  • •Prepare policy briefs, position papers, consultation responses, and regulatory submissions; represent the company in policy meetings, consultations, hearings, and discussions.

Key Requirements

  • •3–5+ years’ experience in government relations, public policy, public affairs, or regulatory/political consulting with public sector engagement.
  • •Experience engaging with Nepal’s government institutions and regulatory bodies.
  • •Strong understanding of Nepal’s political, regulatory, and policy landscape.
  • •Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Nepali, with ability to develop persuasive policy arguments and advocacy strategies.
