Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with the Project Manager to manage the agreed contract with external design consultants and take appropriate action when duties are not discharged.
  • •Manage multi-disciplinary teams of engineers from consultants and partner companies to produce project design solutions to the required design level.
  • •Evaluate designs and solutions to ensure they meet project needs.
  • •Collaborate with technical, operational, maintenance, and strategic stakeholders and design coordinators.
  • •Liaise with clients, engineering managers, project managers, contractors, and consultants on issues, scope changes, risks, and related topics.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5 years of design and management experience.
  • •Around 5 years’ experience managing design through the full project lifecycle across a range of sectors and procurement routes.
  • •Knowledge and experience of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and common data environments.
  • •Degree/HNC qualified (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline such as Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical.
  • •Experience with CAD (AutoCAD or Revit).
