Job Summary

Interpret design documents, sketches, and project parameters to create isometric, 2D, and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and Inventor for manufacturing and contractor communication. Develop product layouts and details for shop and customer review, convert 3D drawings into REVIT (BIM)-ready documents, and support bill of materials creation and ERP order entry. Perform drawing quality control, update revisions from customer mark-ups, and assist with field work as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Interpret blueprints, details, hand sketches, and project descriptions to produce project-specific models and drawings using AutoCAD and Inventor.
•Create project-specific product layouts and details for customer and shop review, including shop and manufacturing drawing packages.
•Review and enter engineered product orders into the ERP system.
•Perform quality control review of completed drawings and orders prior to customer and manufacturing submittals, making corrections from customer mark-ups.
•Convert 3D drawings into REVIT (BIM)-ready documents and assist with design process elements and field work/site visits as needed.

Key Requirements

•Strong multi-tasking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to visualize and work independently or in groups.
