Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, maintain, and improve safety standards and procedures for construction work.
  • •Conduct on-site risk assessments and drive corrective actions.
  • •Ensure compliance with laws and regulations such as the Labor Safety and Health Act and the Construction Business Act.
  • •Perform safety audits and inspections; analyze incidents and near-misses and design prevention measures.
  • •Plan and execute safety education and training for workers and contractors, and participate in safety plan development and approval for new or renovation projects.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • •Knowledge or practical experience in EHS that can be applied to architecture, civil engineering, or related fields.
  • •Japanese language proficiency of JLPT N3 or higher (N2+ preferred).
  • •Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations such as the Labor Safety and Health Act and the Construction Business Act.
  • •Practical experience with risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions (construction-site safety management experience in manufacturing/plants/factories preferred).
