Job Summary

Respond to confirmed compromises on customer endpoints subscribed to the Active Remediation MDR service. Investigate detected threats using security products to analyze, contain, and remediate issues, and provide clear reports on cleanup actions and protection strategies. Help identify and implement response strategies that improve customer security posture, collaborating across Detection Engineering, Threat Hunting, Intel, and Product while participating in a 24x7 on-call rotation.

Key Responsibilities

•Investigate detected threats and use security products to analyze, contain, and remediate threats on customer environments.
•Provide customers with thorough reports describing actions taken and environment cleanup and protection strategies.
•Identify and implement response strategies to improve the security posture of the customer base.
•Collaborate with Detection Engineering, Threat Hunting, Intel, and Product teams to develop methods for timely threat remediation.
•Prioritize and execute tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment and participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.

Salary: USD 103,600 - 148,000

Key Requirements

•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills through direct experience responding to security events and threats.
•Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) products such as CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, SentinelOne, or CarbonBlack, plus familiarity with identity security technologies.
•Foundational understanding of Windows and MacOS operating systems.
•Curiosity about AI tools and a history of integrating new technologies to enhance workflows and problem-solving.
•Professional communication skills, including the ability to provide clear technical documentation, and availability for Monday–Friday 10:00am–6:00pm MT plus monthly on-call rotation.
