Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the design and build of scalable, low-latency, fault-tolerant, governed data platforms and processing applications.
  • •Build governance controls, distributed data pipelines, and analytics data stores using programming languages and full-stack tools.
  • •Lead a group of engineers building data pipelines using big data technologies on medium to large datasets.
  • •Influence best practices for data pipeline design, data architecture, and processing of structured and unstructured data.
  • •Collaborate across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions, including unit tests and code reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree.
  • •At least 4 years of experience in application development (internship experience does not apply).
  • •At least 2 years of experience in big data technologies.
  • •At least 1 year experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • •7+ years of experience in application development including Java, Python, SQL, or Scala (preferred).
