Job Summary

Serve as the key technical enabler for a China-based team, owning architecture and engineering direction for CDMS services. Lead solution design and technical decision-making across Java Spring Boot/Spring Cloud microservices, translating requirements into scalable designs, APIs, and engineering deliverables. Own production support, lead incident problem management, and partner with DevOps on CI/CD, reliability, observability, and AI adoption.

Key Responsibilities

•Own architecture and engineering direction for CDMS services as the technical enabler for the China-based team.
•Lead solution design and technical decision-making across Java/Spring microservices landscapes and translate requirements into technical designs and deliverables.
•Design, develop, and maintain scalable, resilient applications and APIs for customer journey initiatives.
•Establish engineering standards through code reviews, secure coding practices, quality gates, and clean architecture/design patterns; mentor developers.
•Own production support and service management, manage incidents within SLA targets with root-cause analysis, and partner with DevOps to improve CI/CD, release reliability, and observability (including AI adoption).

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
•10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with a proven track record as a Senior Java Engineer or Tech Lead.
•Strong expertise in Java, the Spring ecosystem (including Spring Boot and practical Spring Cloud knowledge), J2EE, and SQL.
•Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, with practical knowledge of API protocols/technologies such as REST and WebSocket.
•Hands-on experience with databases and platforms (e.g., relational databases, MongoDB/Redis, Kafka, and Docker/Kubernetes) plus DevOps practices (CI/CD, automated testing, quality/security scanning, and observability).
