Key Responsibilities

  • •Own architecture and engineering direction for CDMS services as the technical enabler for the China-based team.
  • •Lead solution design and technical decision-making across Java/Spring microservices landscapes and translate requirements into technical designs and deliverables.
  • •Design, develop, and maintain scalable, resilient applications and APIs for customer journey initiatives.
  • •Establish engineering standards through code reviews, secure coding practices, quality gates, and clean architecture/design patterns; mentor developers.
  • •Own production support and service management, manage incidents within SLA targets with root-cause analysis, and partner with DevOps to improve CI/CD, release reliability, and observability (including AI adoption).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • •10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with a proven track record as a Senior Java Engineer or Tech Lead.
  • •Strong expertise in Java, the Spring ecosystem (including Spring Boot and practical Spring Cloud knowledge), J2EE, and SQL.
  • •Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, with practical knowledge of API protocols/technologies such as REST and WebSocket.
  • •Hands-on experience with databases and platforms (e.g., relational databases, MongoDB/Redis, Kafka, and Docker/Kubernetes) plus DevOps practices (CI/CD, automated testing, quality/security scanning, and observability).
