Key Responsibilities

  • •Record business transactions related to the project in the GL in full compliance with local reporting and accounting standards and Masdar policies
  • •Prepare monthly trial balance and ensure accuracy, quality and timely closing of books
  • •Perform monthly accruals and provisions for accuracy and completeness
  • •Prepare monthly aging reports for accounts receivable and payable per statutory requirements and IFRS and Masdar policies
  • •Perform monthly reconciliation of bank accounts, customers/vendors, and all balance sheet accounts per statutory requirements and IFRS/Masdar procedures
  • •Prepare cash flow forecasts, monthly management reports, managerial financial reports, financial analyses, and budgets as required
  • •Prepare reports according to project financial documentation to ensure accurate project finance
  • •Perform AP and AR works and reports to ensure compliance with Masdar or local regulations
  • •Initiate invoice approval status and manage processing timelines
  • •Prepare and reconcile month-end AP and AR reports
  • •Act as focal point for tax authorities and prepare/file tax reporting and payments as per applicable laws

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in accounting, taxation, business, finance, or economics
  • •Qualified accountant ACCA, CAP, CIPA, DipIFR or similar
  • •At least 4-6 years of bookkeeping, taxation, financial management, accounting experience in major infrastructure projects or construction companies
  • •Desire to advance in IFRS and good corporate governance
