Job Summary

Perform plant maintenance to keep machinery and equipment running safely and efficiently. Diagnose malfunctions through visual inspection and operator input, conduct preventative maintenance, install/assemble equipment using blueprints and drawings, and repair systems such as batch panels, motors, and pumps. Operate shop equipment (e.g., grinders and saws) while maintaining housekeeping standards, using personal protective equipment, and following OSHA and company safety policies.

Key Responsibilities

•Visually inspect machines and equipment, using operator descriptions, to locate causes of malfunctions.
•Conduct plant inspections and perform preventative maintenance.
•Install and/or assemble machinery and equipment according to blueprints and other drawings.
•Perform diagnostic troubleshooting and repairs for batch panels as needed.
•Remove and replace malfunctioning motors and pumps, and realign and adjust components as needed.

Key Requirements

•Strong mechanical knowledge of machine diagnosis and repairs, including preventative maintenance.
•Basic knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems and components.
•Basic knowledge of welding and light fabrication.
•Ability to communicate and follow written and verbal instructions.
•Must be willing to work a flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) and maintain regular attendance.
