Job Summary

Own IaaS and virtualization environments that power CrowdStrike’s software factory on the TechOps CICD team. Deploy and operate infrastructure using QEMU/KVM, VMware vCenter, OpenStack, and AWS/Azure/GCP. Build automation and Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Packer, and Ansible, drive migration from VMware to a KVM-based private cloud, and ensure reliability through monitoring, incident root-cause analysis, and on-call support.

Key Responsibilities

•Deploy and operate virtualized infrastructure using QEMU/KVM, VMware vCenter, OpenStack, and public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
•Lead IaC automation using Terraform, Packer, and Ansible and drive configuration management practices.
•Own workstreams migrating from VMware to a KVM-based private cloud model and build automation to improve reliability and developer experience.
•Ensure monitoring, maintenance, and resilience of R&D environments; perform root-cause analysis on incidents and drive resolutions.
•Document processes and procedures; perform code reviews for IaC and scripts and participate in the team on-call rotation.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, or cloud engineering roles.
•Ability to participate in an on-call rotation.
•Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and tooling.

•Experience operating virtualized and IaaS environments (QEMU/KVM and VMware/OpenStack) and working in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
