Job Summary

Field Service Engineer responsible for installation, qualification, repair and maintenance of ASML systems at customer sites. Performs regular and irregular maintenance with autonomy, handles defined problems, provides training and guidance to customers, and collaborates with 2nd line support to ensure timely problem resolution while contributing to knowledge transfer and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

•Analyze problems by gathering information, use available means to diagnose and decide on an initial approach, then execute or escalate as needed
•Handover problems or aspects to 2nd line support and document all relevant data for resolution
•Perform repairs by using tools, replacing parts and adjusting settings independently
•Coordinate parts, tools and information within the customer machine time window to execute procedures
•Explain actions to users, train customers in routine maintenance, and suggest changes to user procedures

Key Requirements

•BSc degree in Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
•Experience in a technical industry; semiconductor industry experience preferred
•Experience using data analysis tools, spreadsheet and presentation software
•Knowledge of product functionality of the main modules/sub-modules
•Experienced Field Service Engineer with the ability to work independently or with limited supervision
