Key Responsibilities

  • •Control the fermentation process and inoculate media with yeast and bacteria to produce fermented intermediate goods.
  • •Operate fermenters and sterilizers using CIP and SIP processes, maintaining strict recipes and sanitation standards.
  • •Monitor multiple fermentors simultaneously and manage fermentation parameters including pH, temperature, pressure, dissolved oxygen, agitation speed, and air flow.
  • •Perform sampling, coordinate with the QA laboratory, and take corrective action based on results.
  • •Operate equipment and support production tasks, including pumping media through sterilizers, washing/cleaning equipment, and operating a forklift.
