Job Summary

Join WSP as an HMSK coordinator focused on health, environment, safety and quality in overhead line transmission projects. You’ll develop and implement HMSK plans, ensure compliance with risk analyses and legal standards, coordinate with project leads and engineers, provide site support on health, environmental and quality matters, and participate in site visits and inspections across Sweden.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop, implement and follow up HMSK in projects.
•Ensure risk analyses, work preparations, legal requirements and standards are complied with.
•Coordinate – work closely with project managers, designers and other technical areas to integrate HMSK into the full project lifecycle.
•Provide construction/contractor support on occupational safety, environmental requirements and quality assurance.
•Participate in site visits, follow-ups and inspections during design and construction of overhead lines.

Key Requirements

•Academic degree in occupational safety, environmental science, energy, engineering or equivalent (or demonstrated equivalent experience).
•At least three years of experience in systematic work on health, environment, electrical safety and quality issues.
•Experience identifying and applying relevant laws, guidelines, norms and standards in HMS, environment, electrical safety and quality areas.
•Experience with coordinating HMSK responsibilities under occupational safety legislation (client/owner/contractor roles).
•Experience with overhead line projects or an interest in developing within transmission/region grid environments.
