Job Summary

Support KeyBanc Capital Markets research by collecting and analyzing financial and statistical data on industries and companies. Assist with forming investment opinions and recommendations, including preparing reports and helping build financial models. Conduct independent research using financial data platforms, maintain company databases, and collaborate with senior researchers to prepare studies, forecasts, and presentations for investment banking syndicate activities.

Key Responsibilities

•Collect, evaluate, and apply statistical and financial data to research common stocks within specific industries.
•Analyze and synthesize research findings into trends, ideas, and support for investment decision-making.
•Prepare reports, recommendations, and statistical data, including assisting with financial statement modeling.
•Answer inquiries from firm personnel on individual securities or industry groups and prepare studies for public publication.
•Interview executives/industry leaders to develop and maintain information sources and prepare special studies/models/forecasts/presentations for syndicate or investment banking groups.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 80,000 - 150,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field, or completion of at least 3 senior-level accounting/financial analysis courses.
•1+ years of experience in an analytical or financial role.
•Corporate financial modeling experience.
•Strong oral and written communication skills.
•Proficiency with building financial models and manipulating equity data; comfort using financial research platforms.
