Job Summary

Independently read plans and specifications and perform forming, pouring, and finishing concrete on construction and paving projects. Maintain a safe work environment by following company safety procedures and OSHA/MSHA requirements, using appropriate tools and PPE. Operate concrete finishing equipment (floats, trowels, screeds, templates, tamps, brooms) and complete physical, outdoor jobsite work while following directions from managers and supporting other duties as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure a safe work environment by complying with safety policies and procedures and using appropriate tools and equipment.
•Follow company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environments.
•Read and interpret project plans and specifications independently to perform concrete work accurately.
•Independently form, pour, and finish concrete to grade to deliver a fine finish across concrete work types.
•Utilize finishing equipment such as floats, trowels, screeds, templates, motorized tamps, push brooms, and straight edges safely.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
•Demonstrated experience reading plans and independently forming, pouring, and finishing concrete.
•Previous related construction experience is a plus.
•Must be 18 years of age or older.
•Must successfully pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and criminal background check.
