Job Summary

Order and purchase Ready Mix, HMA, Crusher, and Wash Plant parts while maintaining accurate parts inventory and records. Coordinate with mechanics, shop foremen, Equipment Manager, and parts vendors to ensure the right parts are ordered, deliveries are tracked, and items are checked in and tagged to work orders. Perform stockroom cycle counts and manage returns, including posting invoices/credits and maintaining a safe, organized work area.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage and complete parts ordering using the company ordering platform, including communicating with parts vendors and partnering to ensure parts accuracy.
•Track deliveries and update the Equipment Manager and foreperson’s on parts status.
•Receive, inspect, and check in delivered parts daily, including quality/mirror matching and tagging parts to the appropriate work order number.
•Monitor stockroom inventory, perform cycle counts, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
•Maintain and update parts knowledge, design purchase orders, initiate returns for incorrect parts, and post invoices/credits daily.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required.
•2 years of related experience in ordering automotive parts (or equivalent training/experience).
•DOT Medical card, or ability to obtain preferred.
•Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
•Must have a valid Driver’s License and be able to pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and criminal background check.
