Job Summary

Develop and deliver advanced Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) software and system solutions for contested, GPS-denied environments. Prototype and evaluate concepts via simulations, lab setups, and hardware-in-the-loop, then run experiments to analyze results and mature implementations. Document designs and test insights, manage technical risk with project leaders, support lab/field/flight testing, and help shape future opportunities through proposals and technical publications.

Key Responsibilities

•Architect and deliver advanced PNT software and system solutions balancing performance, SWaP, cost, reliability, and security.
•Develop prototypes across simulations, lab environments, and hardware-in-the-loop setups to evaluate concepts and reduce risk.
•Run experiments and simulations, analyze results, and iterate quickly to mature concepts into robust implementations.
•Capture designs, architectures, and test insights to enable review, validation, and extension across teams.
•Support lab, field, and flight test activities and work with project/program leads to manage technical risk and communicate status and tradeoffs.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a STEM degree with minimum 10 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with minimum 7 years of experience.
•Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance is required.
•U.S. citizenship is required for eligibility for a security clearance.
•Experience with PNT systems or navigation algorithms, including sensor fusion, timing architectures, estimation techniques (e.g., Kalman filtering), inertial navigation integration, or related GNSS technologies.
•Proficiency implementing algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++, Python, HDL languages, or AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
