Job Summary

Lead operations across assigned concrete plants, overseeing equipment and operations personnel while driving safety, uptime, cleanliness, and operational efficiency. Manage preventative maintenance and identify/execute CapEx projects, including planning, vendor sourcing, and execution. Own financial performance by building corrective action plans, process controls, and KPI measures. Coordinate health, safety, and environmental compliance and develop managers/supervisors through training and performance coaching, while ensuring regulatory adherence to DOT/OSHA/MSHA.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee plants, equipment, and operations personnel in the assigned area.
•Ensure preventative maintenance is performed and that plants meet expectations for uptime, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.
•Identify, plan, and oversee CapEx projects, including vendor sourcing and execution.
•Analyze financial performance and develop action plans with corrective actions, process controls, and key performance measures.
•Coordinate Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance programs and provide guidance for managers/supervisors’ development and training needs.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.E.) and 3-5 years in the concrete business, including dispatch experience and knowledge of delivery and plant equipment.
•Previous supervisory experience.
•Maintain strong customer, supplier, and community relationships.
•Strong organizational and verbal/written communication skills to work with the workforce, customers, and community officials.
•Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation to/from the job site.
