Key Responsibilities

  • •Elaborate technical requisition specifications and detailed engineering for outdoor substation equipment (switches, disconnectors, current and voltage transformers, arresters, insulators and supporting structures) to ensure technically comparable offers.
  • •Define and verify the layout of substation outdoor areas in coordination with electrical/mechanical and civil engineering teams.
  • •Technically evaluate supplier proposals for outdoor equipment and issue evaluation reports.
  • •Review supplier documentation (data sheets, drawings, manuals) to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • •Coordinate with Protection and Control Specialists to ensure technical integration of measurement equipment and support FAT activities as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •More than 8 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in high-voltage equipment engineering
  • •Knowledge of high-voltage AIS and GIS equipment: SF6 switches, disconnectors, current and voltage transformers, surge arresters
  • •Experience in developing technical specifications and evaluating supplier offers
  • •Proficiency with IEC 62271 standards and Argentine Interconnection System regulations for HV/EHV equipment
  • •Electrical/electromechanical engineering degree (excludes non-engineering backgrounds)
