Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide CX technical leadership for the assigned portfolio/platforms by defining key information needs at each development milestone.
  • •Architect end-to-end CX learning plans (qualitative and quantitative) with clear decision framing, success criteria, and evidence standards.
  • •Act as portfolio CX methodologist/SME by selecting and advising on methods across learning phases, aligning rigor to decision risk and timeline.
  • •Translate consumer learning into actionable product and packaging experience requirements and manage design tradeoffs to define success criteria.
  • •Lead and synthesize high-stakes stakeholder readouts, tailoring storylines and technical depth for executive vs. technical audiences, and evaluate/standardize emerging methods including vendor capabilities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree minimum in a relevant field such as consumer behavior/psychology, marketing research, engineering, food science, human factors, industrial design, or related STEM.
  • •6+ years (BS), 5+ years (MS), or 4+ years (PhD) in consumer/product research or applied insights supporting product development and commercialization, with CPG or food & beverage preferred.
  • •Expertise across qualitative and quantitative CX research methods, including end-to-end study design, instrument development, analysis planning, synthesis, and storytelling.
  • •Proven ability to translate consumer needs into clear experience requirements and decision criteria that influence product and packaging innovation/renovation.
  • •Strong technical oversight to scope, QA vendor work (methods, analysis, interpretation), and ensure data integrity, privacy, and research governance compliance.
