Key Responsibilities

  • •Report to the Director and Head of Construction for client service delivery on major projects and annual programs across Hong Kong, Macau, China and other required countries.
  • •Drive client retention and growth, including new revenue generation and delivery of Aon capabilities.
  • •Manage and service existing clients professionally, and pursue new business through tenders and outreach to prospects or clients.
  • •Handle placements for new major construction projects and annual contractors insurance programs, including oversight of technical resources for placement and policy wordings.
  • •Assist the Department Head with business development strategy and manage business development tracking software programs, supporting team achievement of department goals and objectives.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of experience in insurance broking or the construction field handling contractors or major construction projects, including proposal/report preparation, contract review, and risk/insurance recommendations.
  • •Experience analyzing risk and insurance issues with clients, including annual or project construction insurance placements and broking to international construction markets.
  • •Proficiency in PC skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • •Degree holder in Construction, Insurance, Business, or Finance (preferred).
  • •Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese is required.
