Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide detailed pricing analysis support, including developing rates, rating plans, and portfolio management strategies.
  • •Support actuarial, statistical, and IT teams to enable current and future pricing tools across multiple platforms.
  • •Provide lead support for pricing tools, including governance and monitoring, with working knowledge of underlying predictive models.
  • •Build or enhance governance and monitoring frameworks and support rate filing activities, including formal indications and evaluation of pricing levels.
  • •Establish and maintain strong communication and collaboration within and across teams, including supporting cross-organization meetings where appropriate.

Salary: USD 87,200 - 188,700 annually

Key Requirements

  • •For Senior Actuarial Analyst: Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice (including Associates Degree) or a Bachelor’s Degree plus 5+ actuarial exams with 2+ years in an actuarial area (or 3+ exams with 3+ years).
  • •For Associate Actuary: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics/Statistics or Actuarial Sciences plus 5+ years in an actuarial area and ACAS (or equivalent international certification).
  • •Proficiency in pricing studies such as rate indications, trend studies, and parameter analysis.
  • •Proficiency with pricing tools, including development, deployment, and post-implementation monitoring.
  • •Familiarity with statistical and predictive modeling techniques including decision trees, clustering, and GLMs.
