Key Responsibilities

  • •Directly manage and develop a team of hourly associates in an Inspection Center to achieve production targets safely and consistently.
  • •Oversee daily team activities, identify strengths and weaknesses, coach performance, provide feedback, and prevent and resolve conflicts.
  • •Manage vehicle flow into and out of the Inspection Center for repairs while meeting production and quality goals on daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • •Train associates on Quality Control standards to identify and complete repairs effectively and efficiently the first time, minimizing re-checks and delays.
  • •Review and approve mechanical and physical defects of incoming inventory and partner with the General Manager to repair or reject inventory based on estimated repair cost and overall vehicle quality.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • •Valid unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record in the last 3 years.
  • •Demonstrated functional expertise in one or more areas of Carvana’s reconditioning process and understanding of current reconditioning processes and lean principles.
  • •Experience using computers and demonstrated ability to communicate clearly (written and oral) while effectively delegating tasks.
  • •Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently and perform standing work for extended periods in a facility with cold/hot/noisy/wet conditions.
