Key Responsibilities

•Write production code daily alongside Soldiers through pair programming.
•Model and champion XP engineering practices including TDD, continuous refactoring, and maintainable code delivery.
•Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Designers, and Platform Engineers to build the right product.
•Guide the design, implementation, and deployment of robust full-stack applications using modern frameworks.
•Coach Soldiers toward progressive independence, eventually leading teams and building solutions for others.

Salary: 164,619 - 280,667

Key Requirements

•3 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
•Proficiency in modern object-oriented coding languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, TypeScript, Spring Boot, React).
•Ability to coach and train junior software developers across planning, requirements, risk management, design, development, architecture, configuration management, quality, security, and testing.
•Fluent in test-driven development, lean methodology, and DevSecOps.
•Interim Secret Clearance eligibility to start, with support through the clearance process; MUST have REAL ID.
