Training Specialist Advisor who develops and delivers Combat Systems and Operations training for SSDS weapons and sensor systems, serving as a Senior Instructor to train officers and sailors in tactical employment of SSDS/Aegis systems, curriculum development, and advanced tactical scenario-based training in a Naval environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Develops, organizes and conducts Combat Systems and Operations training programs for personnel at SCSTC Det SW, including classroom instruction and shipboard laboratory training.
•Serve as a Senior Instructor to train officers and sailors in tactical employment of the SSDS combat system and related weapons/sensors.
•Create and adapt curriculum lesson plans and instructor guides; support curriculum reviews and gap analyses to improve course effectiveness.
•Assess trainees’ performance and provide formal feedback and recommendations for proficiency improvements.
•Travel to support multi-shift training and ensure alignment with NAVEDTRA 135 requirements.

Salary: USD 97,750 - 132,250 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, certifications, training, or experience
•Seven (7) years of experience in combat systems tactical employment and command & control of shipboard operations; at least 1 year as an instructor/trainer/evaluator in a Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE)
•U.S. Citizenship Required
•Security clearance: Secret
•Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time
