Job Summary

Develop and validate Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) requirements and architectures for integrating complex components into aircraft platforms. Perform trade studies, modeling, simulation, and EMC-focused design work for electronics, wiring, and structures. Coordinate with manufacturing and suppliers, review test plans/reports, and support project management inputs. Optionally support test automation and aircraft-level E3 testing for defense programs such as the E-7A and KC-46A, in a 100% onsite role.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform trade studies, modeling, simulation, and analyses to predict performance and optimize E3 designs.
•Develop and validate E3 requirements and architectures, and work to achieve electromagnetic compatibility of electronics, wiring, and structure.
•Interface with manufacturing and suppliers to ensure system-level compatibility and report achievements/issues to program management and customers.
•Review supplier test plans and test reports for technical correctness and coordinate corrective actions.
•Support project management inputs including work statements, budgets, schedules, and design/review materials.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-U.S. equivalent directly related to the work statement.
•2+ years of related experience.
•Familiarity with electromagnetic concepts such as RF isolation, shielding, grounding, and filtering.
•Willingness to travel up to 25% as required.
•Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required for clearance).
