Job Summary

Create accurate proposals by analyzing drawings and technical documents to complete take-offs, pricing, and quotes for inbound RFQs. Coordinate with sales, strategic account managers, production, engineering, and transportation to deliver quotes before due dates. Communicate with customers on quantity verification and quote structure, support proposal strategy and value engineering, and work with vendors to prepare bids while managing multiple RFQs concurrently.

Key Responsibilities

•Complete take-offs and quotes for RFQs brought in by the outside sales team.
•Send quotes to customers before due dates and copy the outside salesperson on correspondence.
•Communicate with customers regarding quantity verification/confirmation and quote structure.
•Work with the sales team on proposal strategy, basis-of-design changes, and value engineering options.
•Review documentation to prepare cost and labor estimates and assist with vendor bid/proposal preparation.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
•Working knowledge to read and interpret schematics and engineering drawings.
