Job Summary

Senior field engineer within ASML's DUV GSC Asia, responsible for diagnosing and solving complex in-fab and field issues, mentoring junior engineers, and leading training and knowledge transfer. Drives problem analysis, problem handovers, and repairs, while optimizing processes and contributing to new product launches. Works cross-competency with other teams, influencing SLA metrics and ensuring robust technical support across the Asia region.

Key Responsibilities

•Problem analysis and approach: gather information, analyze, and decide on initial approach; adapt as needed and establish new processes if necessary
•Problem handovers and routing: drive problem aspects with teams, document data for resolution, ensure ownership and follow-up
•Repairs: advise and assist customer technical personnel in complex problems, replace parts, adjust settings, and lead non-routine service actions
•Procedures: negotiate machine time windows, plan and execute procedures, ensure all parts/tools are available
•Training / advice: train first line engineers and customers, develop internal training syllabus, recommend procedural changes

Key Requirements

•MS degree in Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or related field with substantial experience; experience in the semiconductor industry
•Specialized knowledge in pneumatics, hydraulics or electronics and semiconductor processes, plus relevant software
•Experience with data analysis tools and common office software (word, spreadsheet, presentation)
•Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence in a multidisciplinary environment
•Deep, specialized knowledge in primary competency
