Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on aluminum extrusion presses and supporting equipment, including inspecting for wear and potential failures.
  • •Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on extrusion equipment; diagnose PLC-controlled equipment and assist with corrective actions.
  • •Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform timely repairs to support production schedules.
  • •Maintain safety and compliance by following OSHA, environmental, lockout/tagout (LOTO), PPE, and safe work procedures; report hazards and participate in corrective actions.
  • •Maintain maintenance activity records in CMMS and participate in continuous improvement activities such as lean manufacturing and 5S.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • •Associate degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field preferred.
  • •3–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably aluminum extrusion or heavy industrial manufacturing.
  • •Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • •Ability to troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems, perform basic PLC diagnostics, and read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals; CMMS familiarity preferred.
