Job Summary

Lead HSBC’s Tech Center China team for data and analytics within the CTO Data Technology organization. Key Responsibilities

•Build and lead the Tech Center China team (hiring, onboarding, coaching), and set ways of working, standards, and delivery governance.
•Own end-to-end delivery for MENAT initiatives, turning stakeholder outcomes into roadmaps and ensuring non-functional requirements are met.
•Collaborate with the ASP delivery team to align tools/processes and deliver synergies.
•Manage the MENAT portfolio across priorities, dependencies, capacity, milestones, benefits, and reporting on health/risks.
•Lead data architecture and engineering excellence, defining target-state architecture and establishing CI/CD, automated testing/quality gates, and operational readiness.

Key Requirements

•Strong data engineering / analytics engineering background with hands-on understanding of modern data stacks.
•Proven engineering leadership experience delivering at scale.
•Solid data architecture capability including data modelling, integration patterns, governance, and platform design.
•Portfolio/programme delivery skills such as planning, prioritisation, and dependency/risk management.
•Ability to work with geographically distributed teams and senior stakeholders in regulated environments (banking experience).
