  • •Develop and implement complex control algorithm models for transient analysis supporting advanced control optimization, electrification and decarbonization, and HVAC/building management use cases.
  • •Apply model-based development concepts and auto code generation to develop and analyze control system models for HVAC equipment.
  • •Participate in long-term technology roadmap discussions and help build external partnerships; support execution of funded technology and new product development projects with internal and external partners.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • •8+ years in Matlab/Simulink for Model Based Development, including Auto Code Generation experience.
  • •Experience with software development best practices (e.g., Git) and agile methodologies, plus practical closed-loop control knowledge.
  • •Experience with Model In-Loop (MIL) and Hardware In-Loop (HIL) simulation.
  • •Programming experience is beneficial, particularly in C, C++, and Python; knowledge of advanced nonlinear control and/or intelligent control is desirable.
