Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate machines in the molding area (e.g., presses/crystallizers) according to product standards.
  • •Randomly check parts produced every hour and place parts in specified relationship to each other.
  • •Monitor flow of parts into assembling machinery, secondary equipment, and storage containers.
  • •Check finished parts for defects and complete daily reports of produced and scrapped parts.
  • •Notify the Lead Person, Mold Technician, and/or Production Supervisor about quality issues or when machinery needs repair.

Key Requirements

  • •Complete the plant’s machine operator position training program in the training manual.
  • •Strong understanding of the blow molding process and basic good manufacturing practices.
  • •High school diploma or GED; or three months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • •Ability to follow written or oral instructions and apply common sense to standardized situations.
  • •Certificate and training in safe forklift operation are required.
