Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee input, peer review, and verification of geotechnical data and analyses, including design calculations.
  • •Provide consultative advice to external partners across the project life cycle, including site selection and optioneering, design, and construction.
  • •Manage or oversee geotechnical projects by planning and developing schedules and coordinating delivery to meet programme and budget objectives.
  • •Lead and support the Ground Engineering team to deliver projects to clients and internal partners on time and to quality expectations.
  • •Maintain industry presence by building relationships with current, past, and prospective customers and taking the Ground Engineering lead on multidisciplinary project delivery.

Key Requirements

  • •A degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology/Geology (2:1 or higher).
  • •MSc/MEng in Soil Mechanics, Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology (advantageous).
  • •Chartered status.
  • •Strong knowledge of UK ground conditions and ground investigation practices.
  • •Demonstrable understanding of current geotechnical design codes, standards, and best practices.
