•Proposes process design and layout to maximize operational efficiencies
•Prepares Capital Expenditure Requests for new processing equipment, managing budget control for complete project
•Coordinates the installation and start-up of new equipment with operators, contractors and vendors; revises engineering drawings to incorporate changes
•Prepares work specifications and negotiates contracts for work to be performed by outside contractors; coordinates/directs work of outside contractors to ensure quality completion and compliance with applicable codes
•Designs and implements processing systems that comply with safety and quality criteria, managing projects from start to finish including system validation

Key Requirements

•B.S. Engineering Discipline; minimum >5 years’ experience leading capital projects, preferably in FMCG
•Ability to develop, read, and understand PFDs (Process Flow Diagram), P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagram), equipment sizing, conceptual designs, and optimal utility consumptions
•Working knowledge of CAD, Microsoft Office, and Project Management Software
•Excellent analytical and organizational skills; strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
•Self-starter, solid team player, willing to challenge the status quo and commit to continuous learning
