Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement CPU core blocks from synthesis through post-layout verification and tapeout.
  • •Drive logic synthesis and place-and-route for CORE IP blocks.
  • •Perform floorplanning and routing studies and implementations.
  • •Conduct block/sub-system level timing analysis and timing/power optimization.
  • •Collaborate with micro-architecture, RTL, and custom circuit teams to converge design targets, including physical verification closure and script-based analysis/recipe creation.

Key Requirements

  • •BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
  • •10+ years of experience in CPU physical design and timing verification.
  • •Experience with synthesis/APR flows for multi-voltage, high-frequency designs, including custom polygon editing.
  • •Proficiency with Tcl scripting and key physical design/verification analyses (noise, cross-talk, OCV).
  • •Floorplanning and physical design/timing closure, plus verification checks such as formal equivalence and DRC/LVS, IR drop, and electro-migration.
