Job Summary

Lead a team of sourcing category managers within a transforming procurement organization. This working-manager role combines hands-on execution of critical sourcing projects with team leadership: mentoring, delegating work, tracking goals and SLAs, and supporting recruiting and onboarding. Own sourcing strategy execution, contract creation/review/negotiation, supplier pricing and SLA negotiations, supplier risk assessments, competitive bidding, and supplier performance management.

•Lead and mentor a team of sourcing professionals, providing guidance, support, performance feedback, and facilitating training and development
•Delegate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure team members meet performance expectations, goals, and SLAs
•Execute category-level sourcing projects using established processes
•Support creation, review, and negotiation of contracts; negotiate supplier pricing, service levels, and commercial/legal terms to maximize savings
•Conduct supplier risk assessments, run competitive bids, manage supplier relationships, and measure performance against negotiated SLAs and quality metrics

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 190,000 - 230,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
•8+ years of experience in procurement or sourcing, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role
•Proven track record managing and developing a team
•Proficiency in procurement systems and tools
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent written and verbal communication
