Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as technical authority for the most complex platform escalations across Compute, Networking, Storage, and OS domains within air-gapped and GovCloud enclaves.
  • •Triage system defects, perform root-cause analysis, and partner with Core Engineering on permanent software bug fixes and fleet-wide supportability improvements.
  • •Write and adapt custom Python/Bash/Go scripts and diagnostic tools to automate platform triage and streamline operational recovery in restricted boundaries.
  • •Lead technical triage and live incident response during high-consequence events while maintaining composure and clear stakeholder communications.
  • •Identify systemic environment blocks, diagnose patch deployment failures, and review IaC configurations to ensure seamless secure platform operations.

Salary: USD 130,200 - 178,950 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
  • •5+ years in Systems Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, Senior Support Engineering, DevSecOps, or related technical operations.
  • •Deep expertise in Linux/Unix internals, networking, debugging, and distributed systems.
  • •Hands-on proficiency in Python, Bash, Go, or Java to read source code, debug defects, and write diagnostic scripts; plus experience operating cloud infrastructure across public or federal cloud boundaries (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or GCP).
