Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect and own the end-to-end deployment lifecycle of Zoom’s observability platform across AWS GovCloud and Oracle OCI, streamlining deployments and eliminating manual steps.
  • •Design and build Terraform modules and providers from scratch, alongside GitLab CI/CD pipelines, to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration across environments.
  • •Operate and improve production Kubernetes workloads at scale, lead incident response, perform root cause analysis, and deliver permanent fixes to reduce outage risk.
  • •Develop reusable frameworks, runbooks, and operational standards that improve observability onboarding, alerting coverage, and operational readiness.
  • •Collaborate with engineering teams to define and track SLOs/SLIs, contribute to architecture and design reviews, and reduce toil through automation.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 98,900 - 228,700

Key Requirements

  • •4–5+ years of hands-on experience in Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Production Engineering in a live production environment.
  • •Production-grade Kubernetes experience, including workload operations, troubleshooting, and cluster-level architectural design at scale.
  • •Ability to author Terraform modules and providers from scratch and automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
  • •Proven on-call experience owning incidents end-to-end, including structured triage, resolution, and post-incident review with documented root cause analysis.
  • •Scripting proficiency in Python and/or Bash for automation and operational tooling.
