  • •Develop fire strategies for stations and associated ancillary buildings from concept stage to construction, delivering code-compliant fire engineering designs.
  • •Conduct Fire Risk Assessments for compliance with relevant fire safety codes, and perform site audits when necessary.
  • •Prepare fee proposals and support iCRC scope of works and UK bids.
  • •Design and specify fire safety systems (fire alarm/detection, fire suppression, and facilities for firefighter intervention) and peer review technical work; organize qualitative design reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •BEng/BSc/MEng in Electrical/Mechanical/Fire Engineering.
  • •Working towards professional qualifications such as IEng or CEng status with CIBSE/IET/IFE.
  • •Minimum 12 years of experience in fire engineering work related to buildings.
  • •Strong fire engineering knowledge across fire safety, fire fighting, fire detection, fire suppression, risk assessment, and fire alarm systems.
  • •Experience developing code-compliant fire engineering designs and conducting Fire Risk Assessments and/or site audits.
