  • •Take full ownership of backend features from scoping through to production and keep the team informed on progress, risks, and blockers.
  • •Design and deliver backend services focused on reliability, performance, and correctness at scale.
  • •Contribute to architecture discussions and advocate for clear service contracts and maintainable system design.
  • •Monitor production impact of your work, identify issues early, and drive incidents to resolution when they arise.
  • •Write production-ready, high-quality code with well-considered error paths and maintain engineering standards through collaboration and reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •Solid backend engineering experience delivering production-ready software with minimal direction, even with ambiguous requirements.
  • •Strong distributed systems fundamentals, with an understanding of production failure modes and building accordingly.
  • •Comfort working with REST APIs and service reliability, observability, and maintainability patterns.
  • •Experience owning work end to end, including monitoring, rollout, and post-deployment outcomes.
