Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems and power generation equipment during offshore operations, including well clean-up, GPP back-gassing, and hydrocarbon export.
  • •Support offshore start-up and commissioning activities and provide technical/operational support during commissioning, start-up, and early production.
  • •Manage electrical permits under the Control of Work (CoW) system and ensure electrical assets operate within required specifications.
  • •Provide effective shift handovers and support daily operational reporting.
  • •Enforce HSE procedures and electrical safety standards, participate in risk assessments/toolbox talks, and support emergency response activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Technical expertise in offshore power generation, DEH systems, power distribution systems, and electrical utilities.
  • •Previous Isolation Authority experience.
  • •Skilled in electrical fault finding, troubleshooting, isolations, de-isolations, and equipment reinstatement.
  • •Strong HSE knowledge, including hazard identification, electrical safety, and emergency response.
  • •Offshore certifications including BOSIET/FOET and HUET, plus a valid offshore medical certificate (such as OGUK).
