Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and maintain relationships with business area management to provide audit support and internal controls expertise.
  • •Conduct operational and financial risk-based audits and related consulting services across the asset management business.
  • •Manage audit planning and fieldwork, including developing portions of audit work programs and documenting processes, testing approaches, and control/process issues.
  • •Formulate clear audit findings with risk impact and practical recommendations to mitigate identified deficiencies.
  • •Use CAATs and develop data analytics routines and data visualization tools to test complete populations and identify patterns, trends, and correlations.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years professional experience (for Senior) in internal/external audit or consulting/finance-related functions, ideally within asset management or corporate governance topics.
  • •Minimum 3 years of applicable experience in Internal Audit, Risk Management, or Compliance within an Asset Management firm or financial institution division.
  • •Experience conducting SSAE 16 engagements covering Asset Management clients.
  • •Good understanding of products in the asset management domain.
  • •Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with strong analytical, critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
